The strategic choices

To anticipate how to meet the market demands and to include its action in the perspective of tomorrow’s carboard packaging methods is a constant motivation of SES. It was recently translated into the conclusion of a strategic partnership agreement with the European packaging giant OTOR.

Objective : introduce on the market, with the concern to insure a better return on its client’s activities, lighter, stronger, more aesthetic and ergonomic packaging which will facilitate the new function of portability, easy opening, fast flattening and differentiation of the products.
A type of packaging able to assume the functions of distribution and sale all the way to the final consumer.

The fundamental choices

Set up the new OTOR processes conceived around four founding principles :

- production of stronger cardboards

- use of lighter, less expensive raw material (kraft) which will allow for a better printing quality

- mechanization at the client's place and produce high performance and intelligent packaging combining savings, productivity and environmental protection.
